Monsignor Stephen J. Berg, former vicar general of the diocese, was elected Diocesan Administrator by the diocesan College of Consultors, and confirmed by Archbishop Carlo Vigano, Apostolic Nuncio to the United States, on Dec. 13.

It was a gentle knock, the tap-tap-tap of a squirrel crossing our roof, or the twinkly sound of a Christmas elf announcing the arrival of Santa.
