Katie Hoffman earned her degree in journalism and mass communications from Benedictine College and is currently completing her post-graduate degree through the University of Sussex. She is a member of St. Ann Parish in Burleson.

A boy kneels in prayer before an image of Blessed Carlo Acutis during eucharistic adoration April 7, 2022, at St. Rita of Cascia Church in the South Bronx, N.Y. Later at the end of an evening Mass at the church, Archbishop Domenico Sorrentino of Assisi-Nocera Umbra-Gualdo Tadino, Italy, presented a reliquary containing a relic of Blessed Acutis to New York Cardinal Timothy M. Dolan, who accepted it on behalf of the U.S. bishops' Committee on Evangelization and Catechesis, which is spearheading a three-year eucharistic revival for the U.S. church. Catholics will have opportunities to venerate the relic as part of the revival. (CNS photo/Gregory A. Shemitz)
