FORT WORTH — Final results have been tallied for the 2025 #iGiveCatholic Giving Tuesday campaign, held Dec. 2, 2025. Due to the generosity of 2,052 donors, a total of $926,443 was raised by the 43 parishes, schools, and ministries that participated.

Most Blessed Sacrament Parish raised more than any other diocesan entity. The Arlington parish brought in $292,151 from 334 donors — funds which will build a larger tabernacle inside the sanctuary.  The existing tabernacle chapel will be converted to an Adoration chapel, allowing for daily Adoration.

Mary Kay Swenson, business manager at Most Blessed Sacrament, reported the significance of adding an Adoration chapel to the parish named for the Holy Eucharist. “We raised the funds to worship Our Lord in the Eucharist. Now we can have an Adoration chapel and truly be called Most Blessed Sacrament,” she said.

St. Rita Catholic School in Fort Worth participated in #iGiveCatholic for the first time this year, raising $4,158 from 25 donors.

Principal Kindra Johnston said, “Through the generous donations given this year through #iGiveCatholic, more children at St. Rita Catholic School are able to experience the gift of a faith-filled education. This year, donations support families who want a Catholic education for their children but need a little extra financial support. Funds help bridge the gap between tuition and the true cost to educate, making it possible for more students to learn, grow, and thrive in a community rooted in faith and excellence.”

In addition to the funds raised during the campaign, #iGiveCatholic participants benefited from a $75,000 matching grant from the Annual Diocesan Appeal through the Advancement Foundation.  This was split among two respect life organizations, three St. Vincent de Paul conferences, five campus ministries, 15 schools, and 18 parishes and apostolates.

“From helping to defray tuition costs to creating spaces to enhance parishioner prayer life, contributions from #iGiveCatholic proved once again that discipleship abounds in our diocese,” said Patricia Gonzalez, director of parish relations and special projects with the Advancement Foundation.

Each year, #iGiveCatholic is held on Giving Tuesday — the national day of giving on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. The #iGiveCatholic platform provides easy access for donors to “Give Back and Give Catholic” on giving Tuesday.

The Diocese of Fort Worth began participating in the annual national campaign in 2020.

Parishes, schools, ministries, and apostolates within the Diocese of Fort Worth can participate in the next #iGiveCatholic, scheduled for Dec. 1, 2026.
